The Latina Collective is a national network of professional Latinas working together to increase the number of Latinas in positions of power and influence across the public, private and social sectors.

Who We Are

The Latina Collective is a national membership organization committed to closing the Latina leadership gap. The Collective is focused on increasing the number of Latinas in positions of power and influence across the public, private and social sectors in order to build the power of the Latinx community. As a 501c6 organization, we will achieve this mission by building a strong network of extraordinary Latina leaders and creating opportunities for members to support each other in building their legacy. We will build strong connections with each other online  through a membership platform and in-person through regional chapters and a national conference.

Inspire

The Latina Collective was inspired by Lisa Garcia Quiroz, SVP of Time Warner Inc. and Chief Diversity Officer and President of Time Warner Foundation. In December 2017, Lisa invited a small group of Latinas to discuss the Latina leadership gap and the need for an organization to advance Latina leadership across the country. Sadly, Lisa passed in March 2018. However, her legacy lives on. Stephanie Valencia, Laura Marquez, Frances Messano, Alicia Menendez, and Susan Gonzales have taken the steps to make Lisa’s dream come true, establishing The Latina Collective in Feb 2019.
